In this certified 250 hour teacher training Bryony will guide you to embrace a deep understanding of what yoga is and how to embody the teachings and philosophy to change your life. Integrating the modern physical practise with the traditional roots of Hatha yoga, Bryony has developed a training the protects the path of traditional and modern yoga.

Through this course you will learn
Basic Anatomy - We will cover all of your anatomy needs, from the skeletal system to the respiration system, muscular and functions. We learn about injuries and how to protect ourselves and our students and much much more!
Yoga Philosophy - An in depth study will take place as we look at the history of yoga, learn about Pantanjali and the Yoga sutras and other eastern philosophies.
Yoga History - We will look at where yoga came from and all the religious influences that created yoga as we know it today.
Asana - We will cover the postures, break them down look at the correct alignment of each asana, how to safely approach postures, how to teach modifications, how the postures benefit the body, mind and subtle body and much more.
Pranayama - We will spend time learning basic pranayama and how to teach it and its healing benefits.
Meditation - We will join in group meditation every day and we will learn lots of different styles and practises.
Teaching Skills - Such as voice tone, setting the scene and more
Adjustments - We will spend time learning about adjustments how to safely perform them and different techniques.
NeuroScience and Yoga - How modern research supports the teachings of yoga and the effects yoga has on the brain.
Sequencing - Applying all of the anatomy and philosophy knowledge you will learn how to create extremely safe and creative sequences.

Supporting Faculty

Sophia is a biomedical research scientist and a yogi and meditation enthusiast.
She completed her DPhil in Immunology from the University of Oxford, UK. She went on to be a postdoctoral research fellow in Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA. There she investigated the beneficial impact of exercise on the brain and cognitive performance. Currently she is working as a researcher in Al.Fleming Biomedical Science Research Center, Athens Greece. Her scientific interests still lie in the field of exercise, neurogenesis and angiogenesis. Her journey with yoga and meditation began during her graduate studies as tools for stress and mental health management, but since then have evolved into daily and lifestyle practices which she is keen to develop further.

Panos Kontis
Panos was always active as a kid and had a passion for extreme sports for many years. But he wanted to experience something different, something with more of a physical aspect and so he tried martial arts, which he found to be too brutal, he then tried Kung Fu which he thought would be more aligned with his mindset. He practised Kung Fu for three years before starting to feel empty again.
A few months later a friend invited Panos to try yoga of which he hadn't considered before this point, and so his journey to yoga and his inner self began in a small place in his neighbourhood with Sensei Kostas.
Panos spent the next four years learning this unique technique from his Sensei giving all of himself to the teachings before he realised that he could do it himself. Panos is honoured to be chosen by Daniel Rama and Shaktibird for their first becoming balance TTC. That was the time when traditional Hatha practise came in and mixed with functional movement and vinyasa flow to his teachings.
In the second year of his yogic studies he had the honour to bring Krishna Taki into his life who became Panos's spiritual father and mentor in Thai massage. It was during his time with Taki at Sunshine House, when he witnessed how the body reacts after giving love and compassion.
He re-educated himself in Ostheo-Thai techniques and internal movement of the organ system and he is content with the feedback, never imagining that the family of Krishna Taki could given him so much powerful knowledge, knowledge that he tries to give and share in all of his treatments.

The Investment?

Deposits are 333 Euro and due at the time of booking.
Payment Plans are available. After the deposit is paid - an agreed upon amount can be paid upon each month to make it up to the full amount.
Scholarships are also available for those on low income. To apply for the scholarship please arrange a call to discuss the training after which a letter is to be written to apply for the financial aid.
